The Insight Now Hardware Architecture

Insight now runs on a completely off site, hosted platform but that doesn’t mean it can’t be configured to scale with your changing business needs.
Scalability and resilience

Our software is truly modular and scalable – and therefore grows with the hardware requirements of multiple users, whilst offering resilience through redundant capacity where necessary. We run the latest, dedicated, high availability servers (minimum of 8GB and two dual core high-end processors per server), housed in secure data centres - and provide these to you at-cost. .
We recommend the use of one Insight now server for every 400 advisors you have completing and sending out surveys to customers. If you have more advisors or more skill sets, or if you have a need for more complex real time dashboards, we can integrate a number of servers to work for a single site or across multiple sites. You may decide to run your pilot survey on a low-cost, reduced hardware configuration, and scale-up only when the benefits are proven.

Interfacing with your operation

All communication between your advisors and Insight now is via http (over the Internet) or https if required (secure Internet) through your company’s IT firewall.
No set-up or configuration is required from your IT department - apart from opening a firewall to enable connection from the advisor desktop (or Citrix client) to each Insight now server you are using.
The footprint of a survey is small (typically 100Kbytes per survey), so there is negligible impact on your network infrastructure. Sending email invitations to customers, WAP push messages (to mobile devices), and IVR surveys are all taken care of by the Insight now infrastructure.

Data warehousing and benchmarking

The dedicated Insight now Management Information (MI) server can be added to provide a consolidated database view of surveys enabling ad hoc data downloads of survey results, a connection directly to your own analysis packages, or seamless interfacing with your own in-house IT systems.
